I have "Special Needs" dogs and there are a LOT of accidents. The problem with other "pee pads" is that they require a slippery plastic backing to keep the urine from leaking through the pad. I bought 2 of these to try out and then ended up getting a total of 10 of them.
These pads have a felt-like backing and are not slippery when placed on carpeting or rugs. They do an amazing job of keeping the fluids from leaking through, so they do everything I need them to do. Easy machine washable, takes a bit longer to dry in the dryer (because they are made to absorb fluids) but they really, REALLY work well.
I bought enough to place some in the problem area, have some in the wash, and some spares and swap them out when they need washing. They have really made my life easier, keep the urine from getting in the carpet or tile, and I know my dog isn't going to fall if he steps or walks on them.
A must have for any special needs animals that have accidents.
