We got this costume for our cat to wear this Halloween. It was really cute and hilarious to see it on him.
The fabric was a very nice microfiber type of soft fleece, and was not disappointing like most inexpensive costumes are. Our cat is a very average sized cat, and it was definitely a little small on him (we got a size Medium). So as many others have mentioned, you will probably want to go a size up from what you think.
I won't take a star off for this since it's very clearly labeled a dog costume, and we knowingly bought it for out cat anyway. But the back legs were a little bit of an awkward fit for him. He struggled to walk normally and we could tell he hated every second of wearing it, but it was definitely hilarious to see him in it. I took him out of it after a few minutes of walking him around and getting some good pictures. Even though he didn't wear it long, the pictures we got out of it made it well worth the reasonable price.

Cute but poor construction. 2.5 stars.
The medium fits my 8 pound yorkie well. She has a 15 inch chest, 10 inch neck, and 12 inch back (neck to tail). She looks so cute in it. The material is very cuddly soft. It's like a super soft fleece. The bum area is a little bigger than expected. When both legs are in the leg holes, it covers her tail and bum so it would be unsanitary to take her out in it. I usually leave at least 1 leg out. After 2 wears for less than 3 hours each, the seam attaching the hood and the back came undone. I sewed it back together but not happy that it came apart so easily.

Wonderful! Costume arrived much earlier than anticipated and was better than expected! Pictures on the product page do not do this costume justice. It is so soft and furry! The outfit itself is much better quality and more durable than I thought it would be, especially for something that only cost $5!! First outfit my dog actually kept on. Sizes do run a little small, order a size up. A medium fit my 12 lb beagle puppy perfectly.

It's beautiful and cute. However, for my maltese that is 5 pounds it got little bit larger so it's difficult for her to walk. But it's a nice product for the price and It's perfect for the winter. Really well done product. Just like the picture. Just be careful with the size.

I went by reviews and bought a size bigger (hes usually a small so i got a medium instead) and I am glad I did cause it fit him perfectly. It is very warm and looks comfortable, the only problem is you will have to take it off every time you take your dog out to use the restroom or else they may accidentally get waste all over it. Cute sweater though!

The costume is magnificently fuzzy. I got a Medium for my small cat. It was a little too big for her, but I stuck it in the dryer on a hot setting to shrink it. It wouldn't stay on her before, but it fits her wonderfully now. I probably should have ordered a Small. Hopefully this helps you pick a size :)
