Customers have different experiences with the sizing of the hat. Some say it fits their dogs well, like boxers and bulldogs, while others find it too small for larger dogs.
This cap is fairly well made, and the Velcro strips for both ears is handy (along with a thin elastic chin strap). Even though this was XL, it's still a bit small for my 105-pound dog, hence the loss of the fifth star.
