It is not exactly what I was expecting. The bandana doesn't tie around my dog's neck, but there is a collar loop through it. It works great and looks really cute. Also goes on and comes off easily. I was also able to wash it, which is a big help.

This says it's a Large, but it barely fits around my 45 pound dogs neck. The ties can barely do one knot, very hard to make a double knot. Would not recommend for a medium/larger dog.
