    We love this dog shampoo! It is very mild and the smell is faint (not overbearing at all), but the smell lasts a couple days. I've accidentally gotten it in my puppy's eyes, but it hasn't bothered him. It doesn't take a lot to coat my puppy (he's about 25 pounds), and it's easy to wash out. We wash our puppy once a week, but the soap is still above the label on the bottle (we've given him about 6 or 7 baths now).

My only complaint is that it doesn't foam at all (which is probably due to something about it being for puppies) but because of this, it's harder to spread during bath time. I feel like I have to use a lot more in order to cover him and then I can't see what has washed away since there are no bubbles to see... But, since the price is good, I don't feel so horrible having to use more. It just makes bathtime a bit more complex.

    My dog smelled really good, for about 12hrs, then it faded quickly. He still wasn't back to his natural Bigfoot scent for about a 4 days, and it didn't condition his fur at all, despite being for puppies (which is why I buy puppy shampoo, because he's also kind of sensitive). I don't know how it's possible for that powerful a concentration of mega stink to be stored in all 8lbs of my chi/mutt, but I was hopeful that this shampoo would help relieve our noses for a bit longer. It's just regular shampoo, nothing special. I'll just mix it with our usual brand that gives us a longer reprieve from his impressive stench.
