Product Description

Hurtta Obedience Vest is a training vest designed for active dog enthusiasts. The vest is made from Houndtex-laminated durable sports fabric. The body-hugging shape and adjustable hem, belt and high collar ensure a secure and comfortable fit when on the move. The front of the vest has four zip/zipper pockets and two large pockets for treats and motivational toys. Large back and breast pockets have plenty of room for training dummies or accessories. The shoulder has a hook-and-loop fastener for attaching motivational toys and rings and clips are located all around the vest. The vest has a number of built-in technical features designed to make training easier and more comfortable. Machine washable 40ºC/105ºF (warm).

    A good vest and well made, but some caveats or observations. It is sized very small, so take note. I'm 5'11 and 145 lbs and the extra small fits perfectly. As it is black, and will heat up quickly in the sun. The zipper is reversed, which I guess is European style. It does not connect or un-connect easily. Objects placed in the back pocket will slide, so be aware; I have dropped a couple of tugs while running.

    Was nervous about the sizing some I normally wear a women's small or 4 petite. I like that the vest is a little roomy on me so I will be able to layer comfortably in cold weather but doesn't look gigantic on me with just a t-shirt. Great pockets all over and there's a good combination of zipped and non-zippered pockets for secure and/our easy access for balls, treats, clicker, remote, cell phone. Would definitely recommend.

    I purchased a Hurtta obedience vest about two years ago. I was happy enough with it to buy the agility vest. I wear the obedience vest about twice a week. I use the pockets for dog treats. Toys are stored in the rear pocket. Recently, I was appalled to have the zipper head on the left chest pocket of the obedience vest come off of the zipper track, exposing the pocket's goodies.

    The vest pocket now gaps open, it also makes the treats a visible lure. Totally unacceptable in obedience training.

    I an so disappointed in the vest's performance and chagrined that Hurtta did nothing to resolve the issues.

    Quality of product is wonderful! Sizing for a lady is a little tricky. I followed measurements on website and ordered XS. When it came it fit wonderfully on my body but due to very large arm openings there was little fabric left to cover my chest. It must be unisex and the male model they used had huge arms. Will try for next size up.

    I love the vest. One thing I would change are the front pockets. I wish the bigger pockets in the front without the zippers would go up and down instead of slanted. Otherwise great! Maybe that's just me.
