Great for pit puppies
Purchased this leather puppy collar for our rescued male pit who was about 7 weeks old when we found him. When we got him he was underweight and tiny (he was abandoned and most likely pulled from his mom too soon) so we needed a small collar for him, but we also wanted one that was strong and durable and would hold up through his puppy years. The collar was perfect for him while he could wear it. Turns out, he's going to be much larger than we originally believed (who knew that food, exercise, and a lot of TLC does that...). He's now about 6 months old and can't wear it anymore, but we are keeping it for our next puppy because it works so well. The only *pitfall* was his slight discomfort with the felt-like material on the inside of the collar. It tended to aggravate him sometimes, but he is also a puppy and was going through leash training. I've attached some pictures of my pup wearing the collar (okay, so I really just want to show everyone how cute he is).
