The jacket fits my 90 pound boxer great. I had originally ordered him the xl but that was entirely too large. We have yet to be at the lake with it but it looks like it will do the job well. If it doesn't I will come back and edit this review. The material seems to be very well made with good stitching. The color is extremely bright so boats will not have an issue seeing him. The material is very comfortable feeling and my boxer did not even try to get it off like he does when we put costumes on him for halloween and what not. So I believe he will enjoy this and it will allow him to spend more time in the lake with us instead of struggling to keep his massive body afloat.

I purchased the medium flotation device for my 8 year old Lab mix named Jazz. I rescued Jazz from the shelter to be a companion dog for my 11 year old chocolate Lab who is a skilled swimmer. I quickly found that Jazz didn't know how to swim. She would panic if her feet couldn't touch the bottom. first time I put the vest on her she quickly gained the confidence to go beyond the limit of being able to touch the bottom. she is going to need more training but I fore see having two skilled swimmers very soon. The medium vest fit perfect and is very adjustable with velcro and nylon straps. I also bought a large vest for my 11 year old Lab who is starting to show signs of arthritis as swim aid. Even though she is a skilled swimmer, she really enjoyed the extra buoyancy in the water.

I bought this item for my 70lb boxer and it's great! It's fit him VERY well. The straps are adjustable and allow enough room for his large chest. It's very light weight. It's designed so that his movement isn't restricted at all. He went swimming with it on several times and it did the job perfectly. He was a little scared of the water before, and had the tendency to sink and panic. Now he fully enjoys swimming!! I don't have to worry about him going under anymore :) Highly recommended!!

Exactly as described!
I have a Doberman so it it hard to get anything to fit his chest right. This just barley fit but it does the trick. My dog can’t swim or float at all and he managed to stay a float with this and paddle around. He is 80 lbs but has a chest is 36” around his biggest part starting right behind his front legs. If your dog is any bigger than this chest size, size large will NOT cut it. I got a size Large, it just barely fits his biggest part of his chest. The velcro made a nice snug fit from his chest to the smallest part of his stomach. As you see from the attached pic he has a deep set chest, which make it nearly impossible to get things to fit right. It wasn’t exactly long on him but with his chest depth going to a small waist , that’s probably a good thing.RebeccaExactly as described!
