I purchased this specifically for dog-shaming. I had gotten some family members Christmas gifts so got one for their dog as well a) so that I had gifts for "everyone," b) because it was incredibly inexpensive, and c) I couldn't wait to dress their freaking dog up in an hilarious outfit. I am not a dog person, and theirs can be particularly annoying. Dress-up and shaming ensued and made everyone laugh, and finally one of them said "no, this works better" and put the cap on the dog's snout, covering its mouth (an unanticipated bonus). Even better, a guest came over later and brought HER dog, so I got to experience two dog-shaming events for the price of one. Not a high-quality product, will not keep dog warm, but I don't think any of the other gifts I brought anyone were as entertaining. Extremely worth the price.
