these boots are nice, the blacks for some reason last longer than the color ones, now these boots are not for long walks, I believe because they are not made for that, also if your dog has long nails that will affect how long the boots last, I usually use them just so my three furry babies go outside and do not bring mud inside when it is wet outside or rained a lot, and the backyard it is all muddy, basically it is just temporary solution, and not for long periods of time, I let them go out so they have their exercise, do their business, but do not bring mud inside, I have to say that it is kind of tricky to put them on their paws, but once you learn, it becomes easy, the same thing to remove the boots from their paws without hurting them. For me these boots are a good tool to keep my house floors clean and my pups have their exercise outside. These boot are good for dogs that suffer "pollen allergies" and their paws get swollen because of allergies, these boots will help to protect their paws, one of my dogs has that problem, but using these boots has help her a lot.

I have an English Bull Terrier with two major feet problems:

    1) Her claws point into the ground, causing her pain walking on ashphalt, gravel, rough sidewalks.... any hard, rough surfaces. It's difficult to see, and we simply can't go certain routes because of it. Even on smooth sidewalks there wasn't a single walk she wouldn't hit a little rock or something, stumble, then lift her foot in pain.

    2) She has terrible grass and pollen allergies that have caused her to chew her feet raw. It has been so bad they bled and caused her to limp. It's absolutely miserable for her.

For the foot pain, we have tried tons of dog shoes and socks, but they all come off in less than a block. We made our own solution, but to keep them on they had to be so tight they caused rope burn, so that wasn't viable. We even had her claws cauderized twice in the hopes that she would be able to walk without pain across streets and bumpy surfaces, but the nerves grew back both times.

For the allergies, we've tried 1-4 feet washings per day with medicated shampoo, medicated foot wipes, frequent colloidal oatmeal foot soaks.... everything. And we finally resorted to prescription medications for the itching, which made her lethargic.

It's always just been a constant battle with both issues, and with minimal improvement, until we discovered PAWZ.

The Pawz Boots solved BOTH problems right away. I knew they would stop the allergies by preventing her feet from coming into contact with grass and other plants, and they work great in that regard. They also keep her feet dry, which is nice on those rainy days.

But I was elated to see that they also provide enough material between her paws and the substrate that she has no pain on our walks anymore. When she crossed a street before, she hobbled slowly and I sometimes had to carry her (45 lbs, not fun). People were always feeling sorry for her, and it was sad because she just wanted to trot along in that adorable jaunty Bull Terrier way. Now she RUNS across ashphalt and other surfaces that were painful for her without even a sign of discomfort. I can't even express how happy I am to see her running with her buddies and never falling behind from hobbling in pain anymore. No more sad looks from passers by, no more breaking my back carrying her porkbutt across the street, and no more sudden jolts of pain over every tiny pebble!

AND THEY STAY ON!!!!! They really do stay on through running, playing, rough housing, zoomies, bulldozing through bushes, hucklebutting, snow, rain, puddles.... I've never even had to adjust them during an outing, either.

Each pair has lasted about 6-10 uses for us. We walk about 75% on sidewalks for about 3 miles per day, and 25% running off leash and playing on grass and other park substrates. I think that's pretty good!

I did eventually buy the Jawz tool for putting the boots on, and I highly recommend it if you use Pawz often. With Jawz, it literally takes about 60 seconds to put all 4 boots on my pupper. It makes the process much more comfy for the dog, too.

In summary, Pawz are fantastic, and in my case they have fixed issues that have literally affected my puppers quality of life. No more insane foot chewing, and no more hobbling in pain for my little monster! 😄

I bought 3 different sizes....and NONE of them fit my Cavalier. I was so sad, because I really wanted to like and use the product, that's why I ordered three different ones.... The boots are just way too wide at the bottom and/or too tight on top. :(

I got boots for my dog before and had to take them back- they kept falling off and he wouldn't walk in them anyway. When it snows he gets balls of ice between his pads, so he really needed something. I only used these once because I got them late in the season, but they worked- my only suggestion would be to make the sleeve part of the boot just a little longer so that the snow wouldn't ball up in the dog hair above the boot- but anyway- it's like a little balloon- you just slip it on over the paw- it looks too big for his foot, but it kind of shaped to it when he was walking- and he really walked- at first he looked like it wasn't going to work- he kept holding his front paw up and looking at me like really!!?? But when we went out, he just took off and had no complaints. So I am totally sold on these- they are reusable- after I used them I just took them off and let them dry- a friend told me about these and I am so glad she did -they are perfect for keeping off the snow and keeping all the salt and chemical products off your dog's feet.

I have a large senior dog who skates across my tile floors. I thought these would be her life saver since it had some pretty good reviews, these didn't work out so well for me. My dog let me put them on her but she looked at me like I was crazy and after the 3rd one she didn't want to deal with it any more...eventually I got it on. She walked so funny like she just got off riding a horse, but eventually she walked normal. This lasted all of about 5 minutes when my 2nd dog decided those must be some kind of alien chew toys. She proceeded to pull them off one my run not heading my calls of drop it! or Noooo!...LOL. I decided not to torture my poor senior dog any further.
I see how these could work well for some people, there was not any flaw in the product design that I can see, these just weren't for us.

Based on the size chart, I ordered a medium for my dog. The boots were so tight that I could not even get his paw in the boot. If I did, the boot would have been too tight around his upper paw to keep on for very long, let alone a 30 min walk. I had to return them. For size reference, I have a 55lb pit mix.

These did not work at all. Ive put them on my dog twice, the first time he was out for seconds and two of them fell off and another one ripped. The second time he was out for longer and when he came in all four were ripped. Not worth the money.
