    The neck is not velcro...the puppy's head would have to be forced through opening. I have a 3lb bichon and his head would not fit through the opening. If I forced his head in opening, I would be concerned of injury and removing would just be punishing and dangerous!

    It's OK, comes with no instructions. I figured it out, but sadly even the extra small is to big for my 16 week old Pom puppy, it also is to short. I won't be able to use it, but the premise is good.

    I recently ordered the fur baby harness in L for my golden retriever. If there was a bigger size i would have ordered it. Sadly it was too small. The reason I am giving it 4 stars still is because it appears very comfortable and durable.

    I think this is a wonderful harness. We just adopted a miniature dachshund puppy and after measuring him we ordered the small size. I knew it would probably be too large but knew he would grow. Then we decided to order the xsmall to use in the mean time. It is very snug now around the neck and soon we will not be able to use it. So, right now, at 12 weeks he really is between sizes. We are using a harness we got at the Chow Hound and it will have to do until he grows a bit.

    This harness is adorable. I ordered the black one of these, size xs. This is made from a mesh material and is very good quality. I recently got a new puppy, he is half pit bull and half mastiff, and he gets so excited when I take him out on the leash that it is hard to keep ahold of the leash. With this harness it is a lot easier to walk him because it fits around his body and not just his neck so, now when he goes to pull it is easier to keep ahold of him. I received this product at a discounted in exchange for an honest and unbiased review but, I have to say that we love this so much that we will be ordering one for my other dog and get more for my puppy as he continues to grow.

    yeah - this is a very nice harness that works great with small animals such as rabbits and maybe even ferrets.
    Usually we take the bunnies for a walk if they are the larger breeds - so I would get a size up - probably a medium next time - but the design works well, because it is friendly and does not choke them, dogs, cats or others - and they are better secured and won't wiggle out, especially not when you really need to keep them safe!
    (Cats may have issues lol - but they usually do not like to be leashed anyway)
