For those with a heart of compassion & want to warm a feral kitty. I've bought this & other K&H products because they are wonderful. I purchase them again, perhaps every 4-5 years because of much usage. I put this on the top shelf of FeralVilla shelter (keeps predators out since they can't easily get in first floor) putting hay and this K&H heated pad on top. With this combination, it keeps a feral safely protected and warm. To any feral with a hard, cold like, this combination is truly considered heaven to them. All they need then, is some compassionate person to feed them and trap them, spay/neuter (so more cats don't have a hard life).

It is made of rugged ABS plastic with a 5.5 foot steel-wrapped cord to ensure your pet’s safety. K&H Lectro-Kennel Pads utilize an energy efficient, thermostatically controlled heater designed to never exceed the body temperate of your pet whether in a comfortable indoor room or outdoors down to 20 degrees below. It warms to your pet's normal body temperature when in use and includes a free super-soft, removable and washable fleece cover that is specifically designed to deliver maximum heat and comfort to your pet. Cleaning
The K&H Lectro-Kennel Igloo Style Heated Pad is easy to clean, just wipe with a damp rag. Allow to dry completely before plugging it back in.
The free Fleece Cover is machine washable.
Testing your K&H Lectro-Kennel Igloo Style Heated Pad
You'll notice that the K&H Lectro-Kennel Igloo Style Heated Pad may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. That is normal! You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the pad. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. Do not use an extension cord during this test. Do not place anything on the pad (other than the fleece cover provided) any other time. This should only be done during testing.
