We got this for our Australian Shepherd puppy. Right now she only weighs about 6 lbs at 8 weeks old and this is the perfect place to put her when I need to do laundry or housework, or take a quick shower. She can't get out of here yet and she has a lot of room for her toys and potty pads and a bowl of water and food if need be.
It goes together super easy. It only took me about 15 minutes and one phillips head screw driver to get this up and ready to go.
It's really big for a puppy...plenty tall enough to keep them contained for a few months at least. I'll update when she's about 5 months old...that's about the time she will be strong enough and smart enough to try and get out. If she outgrows it we have a cat that thinks it's just a dandy hang out place!
Well worth the money to know that your puppy is safe, can't escape, has a place to do her business (potty pads) and allow you some free time without chasing a little puppy around.
It would work great to attach to a crate if you work and don't want to leave your dog cramped up in a crate all day long. I know people that set the crate up in the kitchen, attach this pen with the little door open to the front of the crate somehow so the dog can walk out of the crate and into the pen to get some exercise, use the potty pads and just have some new scenery instead of the being locked inside a crate for 8-10 hours a day.

PERFECT! So easy and versatile!
This crate is PERFECT for us! We bought this for our 17-lb chihuahua/terrier, who tore her ACL and was supposed to be kept quiet for 6 weeks. We didn't want to put her in her sleeping crate, since that's really small, but we also didn't want her to have her usual freedom in the house (where she jumps on and off of couches, beds, etc.) This pen is exactly what we were looking for!!! She has enough room to stretch, her big bed fits, and we have it partially on the kitchen floor so her food/water bowls aren't on the rug. You can shape this in many different ways, so it'll fit almost anywhere (each panel can be at a different angle - this doesn't have to be in a circle - and you can also remove panels if this is too big). I've seen other ratings with videos showing the dogs climbing out or shaking the panels, and this might happen with bigger or heavier dogs. The panels are sturdy plastic, but they can be moved by a determined-to-get-out dog. The trade off is the ease of use, assembly, moving the pen, etc. Our dog has never even tried to get out (and our cats are always in the pen when the dog isn't, LOL). Definitely a great buy.
