Great Replacement
I currently own the ASPCA wire crate which was purchased from Wal-mart. My dog can get frisky when he's in it, and manage to rip up the pan. I purchased the replacement pan after reading some of the reviews. It arrived pretty quickly. It's a very thick pan, which feels like there may be some rubber in the material. But it fits well into the crate, and seems to be holding up pretty well. I would definitely recommend this to others.

    I bought this to replace a cracked crate pan for a PetMate crate. We actually wasted the money on the PetMate replacement pan first and sent it back in favor of this one. We made the right choice! This pan has a deeper lip- nice for a young dog still having occassional accidents in his crate. It is also made of a more flexible plastic that doesn't seem as likely to shatter or crack. It is standing up to hard use by a rough and tumble young cattle dog (blue heeler) pup and is still in great shape after a month of use. Some reviews indicate dog claws scratching it up easily. The only evidence I've seen of this is right now, as I've gotten a bit behind on trimming toenails with all the confusion of the holidays. With long toenails, I've seen one or two scratches develop, but if your dog's nails are trimmed there should be no problem. The best part was this crate pan is almost 1/2 the price of PetMate's replacements! It was a perfect fit and absolutely worth it.

    This replacement pan was the PERFECT purchase for me and my furry friends! I had originally purchased a Blue Beagle kennel that you can find at Walmart and Ross and the pan it came with was horrible! It's made of cheap plastic and is very noisy when my dogs walk on it.     The good: this pan is much more heavy duty than the one that came with the crate (MidWest 42"), and I like its flexibility.
    The bad: the plastic is soft enough that my dog (lab), not ordinarily a big digger, made some serious gouges in it and was able to remove several small chunks within 15 minutes. I will probably have to top the pan with a grille, or go back to the abs plastic and plan on replacing it more often.

    This replacement pan look sturdy, but is not really resistant. After only one day, my dog had seriously scratched it. I would expect by end of the day two, it will have a hole and will need to be replaced. Very disapointing.

    Lasted less than 2 weeks before our 40 pound, 6 month old puppy broke it into several pieces. He was able to bite down on the edges of the tray, grab hold and pull back until the tray shattered into pieces. This is the 2nd tray he has destroyed in 3 weeks. We have ordered a metal version to see if we have any better results with that. We obviously need something move difficult to get a hold of and break than plastic.

    If you are looking for a durable bottom for your dogs cage this is what you are looking for. I have three dogs, one of which is 80lbs and two that are 40 to 50lbs. My 80lb boy is in a cage that we bought years ago, which has been used by two other dogs before then. The girls are a bit younger so we recently had to purchase new crates. They are making these new crates with bottoms that are so thin that they tend to crack very easily. One of my girls moves around a lot in her cage and within a couple of days the bottom of her cage started cracking, and within a month, it was unusable. I purchased a very thick work out mat until I could figure something out. I searched every pet store in my area and all I could find was the same old cheap replacement bottoms. I refused to waste money on these again. When I was searching amazon, I saw this crate bottom that looked very similar to the one that is in the 80lb dog cage. Based on the reviews, I decided to give it a try and I was very satisfied.

    To no fault of amazon, my package did not arrive on time. UPS lost my package in transit. When I contacted amazon, they said that would put in for an investigation. In the meantime, they sent a replacement bottom overnight. The representative who handled my situation was kind, respectful, and very professional. When I received my bottom I was very satisfied with the quality. It is the same quality of the cage bottom we bought years ago. Now I only need to find the size of my medium dog cage and I will have a good bottom for all three of my dogs.

    42"L x 28"W GoGo Dog Crate Plastic Replacement Pan We bought this crate replacement pan after having used double sided tape to try and stick down a carpet runner for padding in the original crate pan. Unfortunately, the puppy shredded the carpet runner and that left the tape residue all over the bottom of the old pan. The new pan fits in the crate perfectly, and has a taller lip around the side to prevent spills (if you know what I mean. ;-) ) It's great!!!
