    I came across those doggy dan videos but I didn’t pay for those tutorials, coz I’m not really certain of them since the first 4 free videos are all bogus (he says he’ll give some sample tips but all he does is blabber on, so that discourage me a lot). I’ve already got my puppy Delia home about a week or two ago. And I can certainly vouch for the paper training method in this book. After a few days of paper training Delia would only pee and poop on the paper. It’s a relief and easy to clean up. Phew! Now I finally manage to get some sleep after days... And thanks for the whole strategies of the bathroom schedules table and all that was included. For the most part this book involved potty training strategies, but for my Delia and I this worked out great. Potty training techniques worked quite well for me, but obedience training is still a strain. Is it something to do with the breed??? Since Delia is a German Shepherd???

    This book is comprehensive. It covers advice for getting and preparing to receive you new dog, to a full complement of training (crate, leash training etc). The structure of each of the training sections are clear and go step by step making it easy to follow.

    I also liked the style of the author.. it is very friendly and 'talks' to the reader (calling your dog your 'favorite furball' at times). Too many times I have been frustrated with ebooks that have been written in a very formal style.. or worse someone that clearly does not have English as a native language.
