We took our 3 dogs camping this weekend and this pen was great. I bought 2 sets (16 panels) and they had plenty of room to walk around and snooze when we weren't walking or inside the motorhome. It was sturdy enough even for my 80lb lab. It comes with enough stakes for all the panels. We only staked every other panel and it was just fine.

    Well made, good price. The carrying case is great since we camp in our RV and can take this with us. We bought the 36" height for our 2 jumpy toy rat terriers, but felt it might be a bit too small so we've just ordered another and will use them connected. The first was shipped very quickly and we expect the second will arrive any day. Free shipping was a bonus and helped in our decision to purchase.

    This little pen is well built and very simple to set up. It comes with a carrying case and easily folds up to fit in it. This is a very large pen and will work great for most sized dogs. The complaint that dogs will jump over it is not a problem with the pen. A jumping dog will hurdle a 6 foot fence if motivated so understand that if you have a jumper, you may need an alternate solution to a pen.

    The problem is that this pen has no way of holding its shape in inside applications. The pictures show it perfectly shaped in an octagon or rectangle. You may be able to achieve that shape with a lot of patience and a engineering skills but probably not. It has no way of locking into shape. It does have some clips that hold the two ends together so it can be enclosed but it does not have a way to lock the sides in any position. This is said in other reviews and I guess I should have paid better attention. Also, because there is no way to hold it down or keep it in a shape, it can be easily moved into different shapes with the tiniest or efforts from your dog.

    We decided to keep the pen because I believe it would be good for outside application where you could stake it to the ground.

It will be very simple to move to different areas of the yard to give our pets a different "view". We will probably buy another set to enlarge the area the animals have to play. This gets them out of the house for fresh air and also gets them out from under our feet!

    I agree the pen is a bit wobbly, but it has been a wonderful purchase. It gives plenty of room to our puppy, who needs a controlled environment. We bought special silicon twist ties for the door... just in case she figures out how to open it. when she pushes the sides of the crate it does move, so we plan to add something to the pen to help keep it in place. we also bought a rubber mat with low carpet on the top of it from Home depot to put under the pen to protect the floor and add some comfort for the her. It keeps the puppy from slipping on the floor as well. Would buy this again and again as it lowers our stress and gives puppy a place to hang out when we are trying to cook or eat... without having her crated all the time. Definitely worth the purchase. As a note, if you put the crate upside down, the gate does not properly lock when closed, so those that complained about this issue probably had the pen upside down. You know it's correct if the slides lay flat when in the down position.

    If you have any type of animal that you wish to keep rounded up and safe, this is the best thing since sliced bread man! Sitting for a friends pregnant dog and got this when they were 2 weeks because I had a feeling I'd need something especially when they begin moving around allot more.
