I have a miniture long haired dachshund that gave birth 07-22-20. It was her first litter, so I wasn't sure what size whelping kit to buy. I am glad I purchased the one for 8 because she gave birth to 5 puppies. I was able to have plenty of supplies needed for her delivery and this kit just made the process run smoothly with everything on hand.     This was one of the best things I’ve ever ordered. I never bred a dog before and I allowed my two German shepherds to mate so I knew I’d need help. This box was amazing, the stethoscope was the only thing I’d say needed better quality. But I used the suctions, pads, gloves, light, iodine whips, thermometer, lube, clamps, scissors etc... that light helped me when I noticed a problem with one of the pups when my female could’ve possibly hurt it, I’m so grateful for that. A very intense experience but I couldn’t have imagined it with out the box

I quickly turned to my other thermometer that gave me a proper reading of 100.2F every time. I almost took her to the emergency veterinary hospital, assuming my dam was whelping WAY TOO EARLY! Do NOT rely on this thermometer.
