I have to give this product 5 stars because the first time my 8-pound Maltese wore it to the vet's office, EVERYONE loved it :) My little man always wears a shirt or sweater because he lost most of his hair (and was completely bald on his back) from hypothyroidism. So it's not like my vet had never seen him in clothes before - and I've never gotten that kind of reaction to any of his other sweaters. They especially loved the little pom pom on the hood :) I purchased the Small when we first adopted him. There's lots of room on the underside, so the sweater doesn't catch any dribble when he goes potty. It's a thick, good-quality sweater & feels sturdy and substantial. It washes well - no shrinking or pilling. Now he's 8.4-pounds & Girth = 15 / Neck = 10.5 / Length = 11 and the Small is snug now. So after I finish writing this review, I'm going to 1-click a Medium. Highly recommended.

Great value. Very nicely knit sweater!
It is hard to find sweaters and coats to fit my Yorkie because she has some Dachshund in her and her neck to chest ratio is kind of wacky plus she is slightly longer than a typical Yorkie. At 15 pounds, her neck is 14" and her chest is 19". I bought her the green striped sweater in size 14 (XL) and it fits pretty well. It is slightly wide around her neck and she did manage to get one front paw out of the sweater so I bought her a size 12 ( L) in purple which is on the way. This is not one of those sweaters that pill up real fast or have loose threads. It's very nicely knitted. The hood isn't necessary but cute. The sleeves actually go down the front paws. I cuffed them because they were a bit long on Molly. Another Doxie trait. She was fine with them cuffed. She wore the sweater all night in our cold bedroom and outside as well. It has room to hook a leash on a collar but a harness will have to go over the sweater as there is no opening for a harness hook. I wish I could find a sweater with one because I prefer the harness under the sweater or coat. The sweater is a tad bit long even for my slightly longer dog but doesn't get in the way of her doing her business back there. The front is plenty short enough not to interfere with her urinating. In the pics, my dog looks like she is an old homeless person who was just given a sweater to wear by a stranger and isn't too pleased but she really doesn't mind the sweater at all and it is warm. I look forward to trying the purple striped one which should be slightly smaller around the neck and shorter on the body. I definitely recommend this sweater. Sizing is basically correct. My dog is just slightly weirdly sized.

Medium 14-17": Fits my Mini Poodle, Rolex, Perfectly!

Stylish and well made! Rolex loves to wear snuggly sweaters!
As a reference: my Miniature Poodle, Rolex, wears a medium in Petco's PupCrew doggie sweaters even though PupCrew suggests a small per his measurements. In contrast, Zack and Zoey's medium sweaters are too large for Rolex (and their chart bears this out).
He is on the larger end of the mini-poo spectrum. He measures closest to a medium (according to the charts).
He likes a loose fit and this sweater is PERFECTION.

This medium sweater IS roomy.
