Product Description

Our boots are here to help keep those paws protected for every adventure. Let’s face it our pups are our family and we want them to join in on the fun and be safe while doing it.

Our shoes come in eight sizes (sizing guide is located in the pictures - or just reach out if we can lend a helping paw). We recommend using the sizing guide as even dogs within the same breed can vary in terms of sizing. Some sample breeds based on average weight (for reference only - please do not guess based on breed). Since these are reference points your pup of the same breed may vary up or down a size, but if you need help with your paw measurements we can assist you:

  • Size 1: Chihuahua, Boston Terrier (Dogs under 10 pounds have trouble with the weight of shoes)
  • Size 2: Shiba Inu, Pug
  • Size 3: Beagle, Corgi
  • Size 4: Bulldog, Australian Shephard
  • Size 5: Siberian Husky, Standard Poodles, Boxer
  • Size 6: Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retriever, Goldendoodle, Pitbull, German Shephard
  • Size 7: Rottweiler, Dobermann
  • Size 8: Great Dane, Bernese Mountain Dog

If you need any help with sizing or once you receive your boots, we have tips and tricks - we are here to help!

We bought these on the 23rd of May. Our service dog is rough on shoes as you can see from the pictures. He has run the pads down pretty hard over the last two months, but that is due to putting over a hundred miles on these at top speed on hot asphalt. I plan on getting a second pair just for work and using these for his running/workout shoes. They look great, they have two separate Velcro fasteners, one with a high visibility stripe on top. They are true to size. Magnus is a Terrier mix, 12 months old and 65 lbs, and he's wearing a size 6. The biggest problem with dog shoes is rolling. We've tried other shoes and they roll often which tears up the tops really quickly. These shoes rolled too, on the back left for my dog, but once he had worn them in they stopped rolling for the most part. I am amazed at the quality of them and this is the only shoe he will wear now. Magnus wears them at work about 8 hours a day. They breathe okay, not as well as a mesh shoe does but the trade off is the resilience of the shoe. They are going to wear better and not shred apart like the mesh shoes or the lower quality material shoes. They are more expensive but they will outlast 3 pairs of the cheaper shoes so that's a better value overall. They have been washed in the washer and dryer at home and are color fast and did not bleed or fade. I prefer to just rinse them with the water hose and lay them outside to dry. They will hold odor so periodic washing is a must if you don't want stinking dog feet. He has worn them swimming and wading in creeks. They didn't come off or seem to bother him at all. In fact he has only ever thrown one shoe and that was the first week when I was learning with him how tight to put them on him and how well he tolerated them. He is so used to them now that he doesn't flinch or high step at all. He can run full speed in them or walk in them all day long without issues. They are great for standing on hot asphalt in the summer heat here in Texas. Hundred plus degree temperatures and street temperatures over 120 degrees don't bother him at all. We use Musher's Secret Paw Protection Wax on his pads to keep them soft and protected and to avoid cracking. He used to have problems tearing his pads and blisters on his pads due to hard running on asphalt and high heat, but the wax and shoes have kept his paws in great shape ever since. (Update. The last two pictures are from 28 August. The shoes finally fell apart. That's daily use for about four months. I'm buying another pair and will be more careful about what he does while wearing them. This was a learning experience. I am still a fan of these shoes and after trying many other shoes on Amazon these are my favorite. Any shoe is going to be ruined if you drag your feet or walk on the tops of them. It's my fault they didn't last as long as they should, and the second pair will definitely be better taken care of.

We've used this product for 4 days. The shoes are very sturdy. Our dog is still adjusting to walking in them, but they go on pretty quickly and stay on. My husband really likes the reflective velcro when he takes him for walks at night. As an added bonus, it's been raining here and our dog has never been happy about walking in wet grass but he has no problem venturing in wet grass with the shoes on.

We bought the shoes because our dog has terrible allergies. We've been giving him antihistamines (as prescribed from his vet), but it hadn't made a big dent in his symptoms until we put him in these shoes (minimizing his contact with pollen). Below are some pictures: 1. before allergies, 2. after onset of allergies, 3. 4 days after taking walks with shoes on, 4. Shiro in shoes. It's made a huge difference in our lives, so we're grateful for that.

I bought these for my American Bully. He has larger paws in the back compared to his front so I got a size 6. Not too bad. They fit fine he walks good in them. They support is paw pads well. They double Velcro is my only issue as it seems like they don’t really hold on if he runs fast. When he jogs/walks they do great

I bought two sets for my GSD's to use on camping trips to the desert. Both dogs adjusted easily to wearing them and they definitely help but they did present a few issues. One Velcro strap came apart from the material on second wearing. If the dogs do a lot of running and sharp turns the shoes rotate and twist around. On my dogs they rub under the dewclaw and create sore spots. Perhaps if they went higher on the foot?

I just recieved these shoes for my dog yesterday so I'm writing an early review and will update as time goes on...BUT I had to start a review now because I am so impressed with these shoes. First, they were extremely easy to put on. I've had trouble in the past with other brands where I have to put my fingers in under my dogs pads so flatten them out and squeeze her paws all the way into the shoes. But don't think that just because they were easy to put on that they're easy to get off, once the straps are in place the shoes hold extremely well. I have not taken my dog on a run with these shoes as of yet, I'm still getting her used to them but as of right now I am very happy with my purchase and the quality definitely seems good.

Not really meant for concrete. We walked our Golden Retriever one time with these, a 3 mile walk, on a warm day. When we came back, one of them was already worn all the way down. The tread must be very soft and low quality for this to have happened in ONE walk. For the price, I just feel the rubber should be stronger and quality better.

I've used these about 10 times now in the snow/ice/salt, and they're fine under certain conditions.

If there's ice, forget it. No traction whatsoever. This was an issue for my senior dog. They stay on as long as you make them much tighter than you think you should, and even then they have a tendency to slip down if you're walking for more than 20 minutes or so. But, since the material is VERY stiff and you have to make them tight enough to stay on, my dog got rub marks on the tops of her paws. I wish they came up higher (above the dew claw) and the inside material was softer. If there's snow, it gets packed into the top of the boot, which my dog was visibly uncomfortable with.

These seem like they're fine if there's no snow, no ice, and you only have to walk for a few minutes? They're great at protecting from the salt, which is the main reason I got them. But with the other issues (sores on the top of her paws, mostly), I wonder if it's worth it. If you want these for a super active dog on a really long hike, these are not the boot for you!

I also have Musher's Secret, and it's a way better solution for us.

Product Description

Shoes are important for protecting your dog's paws from sharp objects during walks, hiking, and even swimming. Many dogs do not like getting their paws wet and the waterproof design helps keep dry and warm. When you get home take off the shoes and keep your floors clean. During the winter shoes can protect their paws from harsh salt on the roads and sidewalks. During the summer the shoes can protect their paws from hot sidewalks, streets, and asphalt. Get your four legged friend a pair of dog boots that are similar to your shoes! How to put on Unfasten the two straps and pull open the boot as wide as possible. Then guide your dog's paw into the shoe and reward them for doing so with a treat. Refasten the straps and pull as tight as comfortable. Your dog may begin to walk funny or even prance at first so get your camera ready, but do not worry this is a completely normal reaction as your four legged friend gets use to their new boots.

Important Information

Directions

By rewarding your dog with a treat each time you put the shoes on and fasten the two straps it will speed up the adjustment time.
