The Wound Boot is a breathable boot with elastic sides to cover a bandage or cast if essential. The Spandex sides permit for a selection of healing stages - expands to cover bandage or cast and minimizes when bandage is removed for continual healing safety. It protects the wound region even though healing and restricts licking or chewing at wounds. The boot is breathable to let air to freely movement in and around the wound location - decreasing moisture and retaining the wound area dryer and cooler. The boot is created to be breathable, not waterproof. If the dog goes outside in moist circumstances, contemplate taping a plastic bag more than the boot to avoid moisture from penetrating the boot. U.S. Patent seven,971,557 and 8,113,152. Other patents pending. three sizes to match little to quite large dogs - Dimension is based mostly on the width of the dog\'s paw without any bandage. How to measure width: Location canines foot on paper and press on best to spread foot like when strolling. Mark the sides. Little dimension fits one-1/4\" - one-3/four\" wide paw and expands to fit circumference of 4-1/two\" to 6-1/two\" Medium size fits 2-one/4\" - two-three/four\" broad paw and expands to match circumference of six-one/2\" to 9-1/two\" Massive fits three-1/four\" - four\" broad paw and expands to fit circumference of seven-one/2\" to eleven\"\".
